Lake Chelan house pics are here!!!!

Zaron and I stopped by the house we are renting this summer when we were in Chelan this weekend. We just happened to stop by when the cleaning ladies were there and they let us come in and take a look around. Check it out:

Some things we noticed while we were there:

This place is really cool! Right on the water, has a nice dock, swim ladder, boatlift, jet ski lifts, paddle boats, hot tub etc. It has lots of fun things to do in the house too. Foosball, Air Hockey, Pinball, basketball hoop, bbq, sauna, nice kitchen, tv, movies, etc.

This location is a little ways away from the City of Chelan. This will be nice because there were a lot of boats around the city, but not many out where this house is located - hopefully this will give us nice, smooth water to ski on!

It's a very secluded house which will give us lots of privacy. Just visiting there has made us VERY excited for this trip. We will all have a great time. Nice find, Amy!

Some things to think about...

Parking is VERY difficult here. There is room for MAYBE 3 cars if we are lucky. We had a lot of trouble turning around with just 2 cars parked there. And this is definitely not the driveway you would want to back out of. The driveway is very steep and we scraped the bottom of our car most of the way down. I am not sure how we are going to be able to handle the parking situation since there isn't any street parking above. We will probably have to try and figure out some sort of shuttle, but I have no idea where we would park the rest of the vehicles for that week. There is nothing but other houses with extremely steep driveways for miles around. Maybe Amy, could you contact the owners and ask what we should do about that?

We think there is a boat launch at the state park, a few miles away. We launched a boat twice this weekend at two different locations and it was free at both places - maybe this one is the same? I wonder if we can park the cars with trailers there for the week too.

Anyway, we are way excited. Should be lots of fun. Thanks for planning this Amy!
